Though she had two sons who didn’t follow in her footsteps, her love for hairstyling lived on through her granddaughter, Alex Garrow.

For us, hairstyling wasn’t just a career—it was our childhood. With a salon right in our home, my sisters and I grew up surrounded by hair, clients, color bowls, and the hum of blow dryers. We weren’t just spectators—we helped, we learned, and we absorbed the business from an early age. It was inescapable, but more importantly, it was a part of us.
